TURN THOSE MISTAKES TO A STAIRCASE

I was making moi moi, a Nigerian meal made from beans ...

After adding and mixing all, I kept having a feeling that something was missing; I didn't put something. But what? I kept wondering.

Well, I finished up, packaged it and put it on fire.

After it was on fire, I cleaned up the kitchen then when I turned to leave, I sighted the vegetable oil container.

Ewooooo. I let out a shout of exclamation,  "Yeeeeeeeee", Hauwa and Shama both ran to the kitchen and asked what was wrong. I told them, I forgot something, the oil. ...

They both exclaimed. Hauwa said it's because she wasn't there, she would have remembered. I told them I kept wondering what it was that I forgot... well I decided to let it be as it was too late to bring it down from the fire anyway, I mean how can I unwrap everything just to add oil.

After all, "aunty Stels" told me how she makes moi moi without adding oil because crayfish has oil.

I had to wait and see the outcome while thanking God that I was generous with the quantity of crayfish I added.

Guess what?  It turned out just as nice.

No matter what you did wrong, no matter the mistake or errors, don't let them keep you down. Get a grip on yourself.  Turn it to your staircase. Let it lead you to success.

Learn from it, the mistake not to make again.

Show others what you learnt from the mistake.

Let it be a signpost showing others the way.

A new year starts today, let go of all the mistakes, hurts and disappointment of 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017.

Look into 2024with hope! Have great expectations! Expect great results!

Somethings you have worked for in 2019 and even before may unfold in 2020 and beyond! Don't be hard on you!

You are alive, keep hope alive! "Hope" keeps YOU.

                HAPPY NEW YEAR 2020!!!
