Keep The Spirit In Your Heart 🍁🌲

 

When you walk into any premises, from the gate you'll know that something is in the air. You will feel the excitement and the Spirit of the season.

It's either you hear Jim Reeves singing "Hear Senôr Santa Clause I think I'll tell you, what I would like for Christmas and I hope you don't forget...," or you hear Kenny Rogers singing "Another Homemade Christmas in Kentucky," or even Boney M singing "I'll be home for Christmas, I'll be home just in time..."

If you prefer the contemporary kinda music, Whitney's "Joy to the world" will just about do it for you. You'll probably sway your body in response to the melodious and danceable song. 

My Dad (God rest his soul) built a love for music in each and every one of us. It is a great taboo to not hear carols in the air, I mean, the excitement builds as you hear these songs. You know something is happening. You feel it. The season comes with many things, music, decor, lights... it will take a person that is both blind and deaf not to appreciate this. 

The Christmas songs play a vital role in stirring the Christmas spirit. The spirit of love, joy, laughter...  It creates a feeling of togetherness. If you leave the songs out, the feeling is absent. 

All the frying of meat, chin chin, all the plenty of cooking builds from the music. Once the first carol is played, planning begins. Plans of what to cook, whom to share the food with, what to wear, where to go, whom to visit...

It all starts with a song.

The songs keep the excitement alive. Where no music plays, you hear things like, "It doesn't feel like Christmas," "No excitement" in the air, etc.

Play a carol and you'll instantly be transported into the season.
